Adhesive R&D recruited the moral authority of anaerobic chemistry, Dr. Gerhardt Werber, to instruct our team, and create the technology necessary to deliver high performance products in this category. Rather than utilizing an off-the-shelf approach, common in the industry, we deliver a value solution. Customers are generally given different options for solving their assembly problems, and allowed to determine the level of performance they need.

Adhesive R&D offers a broad line of high performance products, many of our own reacted polymers and oligomers. Different cure systems are available, in a wide range of Mil-Spec and ASTM Standard grades, as well as custom "exact copy" drop ins for "own brand" customers.

The best way to gasket two surfaces, is to machine them to a glass like surface. Since that isn't an economically viable solution, the second best option is a formed-in-place anaerobic adhesive. The 100% reactive chemistries leave no leak path. Adhesive R&D manufactures revolutionary new technologies, including our Patent Pending RubberMax™.

The strongest of the anaerobic adhesive line-up, are the retaining compounds. High strength, heat resistant Deadbolt™ products are available with the HSR™ or eXtend™ cure system. With the strongest chemistries available, these products may also be used as threadlockers in high temperature applications.

Structural bonds depend more on the adhesive, and require rigorous attention to detail. Small improvements in deliverables like viscosity, can geometrically increase reliability and thus performance. Attention must be paid to critical areas such as gap, and assembly requirements, to create an environment of reproducibility of results.
